Welcome to Ashford Hill for Henhouse Antiques, fondly known as the “Henhouse”. Tucked away in the charming English Village of Mountain Brook, AL, Henhouse is the perfect stop for hand-picked English and French antiques, homeware, gifts, and accessories.

For over twenty years, founders Barbara Ashford and Judy Hill personally selected every piece in the shop. In recent years, their daughters, Laura Ashford Gessert and Libby Hill McGowan have joined the business, adding a fresh contemporary look to what has always been a respected curated shop.

From the traditional to the unexpected, our collection is a fresh approach to decorating.  We enjoy mixing English with French, 18th-Century with 21st-Century, and primitive with formal.  Our look is constantly changing and evolving.

You can also find The Hill Collection, a hand-picked selection of antique and modern jewelry. Owner, Jamie Hill, has one-of-a-kind pieces of antique jewelry, including everything from Georgian period to the Art Deco period.  You will also find unique vintage costume jewelry and hand-made jewelry by artists around the globe.
